What a week it was in Geneva. My first tournament at the ATP 250 level. Many thanks to the gonetgenevaopen for giving me a wildcard. I have always dreamed of such a start. Wins against the two top 50 players M. Cilic (former world number 3 and US Open winner 2014) and M. Fucsovics (tournament winner in Geneva 2018). In addition, a narrow three-set defeat in the ¼ final against the R. Federer defeater P. Andujar. Things also went well in the doubles. Together with Marc Hüsler we reached the ¼ final. Unfortunately, we lost unhappily against the later tournament winners with 9:11 in the third set. Many thanks to Swisstennis and coach Kai Stentenbach for the great support.
